I AM YVE EDMOND
As a fit model for 15 years; I worked alongside some of the most creative and gifted designers, technical designers, pattern makers, models, and more as the BODY behind some of the best selling swimwear, bridal, maternity, and women's clothing in the United States, Canada, and Europe. I look forward to working with teams devoted to providing plus size women with fashion for every stage of their lives and to serve as a voice behind the seams for the plus community.
I am also a consultant at universities, community organizations for program development and implementation while managing a small portfolio of scholarships and community outreach activities available for students attending High School and/or college in the state of Georgia.
Biography
A Georgia native, Yve moved to the Northeast and began her full transition into modeling after building a career in the nonprofit sector and obtaining her Masters Degree in Community Health Education. She is the former Editor of Health & Wellness of PLUS Model Magazine, a Reiki Master, and NCHEC Certified Health Education Specialist. She has created programs for the Lupus Foundation of America-Northeast Region, sat on numerous community boards advocating for the rights of models and individuals with chronic conditions, is the recipient of Congressional Recognition by the US House of Representatives for her works in the North Philadelphia community, and a former cheerleading coach with her church.
As a model, Yve is a subject matter expert (SME) for the plus community with extensive knowledge of garment construction, fashion trends, and the advancements of technology regarding 3D/AI in the fitting process. She is continuously advocating behind the seams for increased opportunities, visibility, and offerings for consumers AND rights, financial freedom, and ownership of NIL in regards to fashion workers and models. In addition to consulting with businesses in the process of developing lines/products for plus consumers or being a guest lecturer at universities, Yve also provides mentorship to younger models with the hopes of helping them to build a solid career foundation.
For collaborations; Yve works with brands devoted to providing high quality, fashionable, and affordable clothing for plus size women of all ages, shapes, and sizes. As an influencer, Yve works with brands devoted to providing high quality and nontoxic beauty, skincare, and haircare products.
